Become A Volunteer With APTV

Volunteering with APTV can be an extremely rewarding way to get involved in our community. When you go out to cover people, institutions, and happenings around town, you come away each time with new insights into what makes Asbury Park such a unique and wonderful place to live.

There are many potential volunteer opportunities… from recording City Council and other government meetings using state of the art PTZ cameras… to helping in small crews that cover the arts, public events, and creative individuals.

If you already have video and production skills, or want to learn from others who do, APTV can be a great way to get involved in what’s happening, making new friends and connections along the way. We always need people with skills in Video Production, Editing, Marketing, Graphics & Design, Social Media, Fundraising, etc. If you have such skills, come join a fun bunch of people who enjoy chronicling our beloved city. We also need assistants, and that’s the best way to start learning some of the skills mentioned above. Video production is a field where hands-on experience counts for everything.
